Introduction
Welcome to SpendTab. These Terms of Service govern your use of SpendTab and any related services provided by us. By accessing or using SpendTab, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our platform.
Eligibility and Account Registration
To use SpendTab, you must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities conducted under it. SpendTab reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Use of Services
SpendTab provides financial tracking tools that allow users to monitor and manage their spending. The platform does not connect to financial accounts or process payments directly. Payments for premium features are handled by Polar.sh, and SpendTab does not store payment information. You agree to use SpendTab only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any unauthorized use, including hacking, data scraping, or reverse engineering, is strictly prohibited.
Subscription and Payments
SpendTab offers both free and paid subscription plans. Payment for premium services is processed securely through Polar.sh. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as required by law. Users may cancel their subscription at any time, but access to premium features will continue until the end of the billing cycle. SpendTab reserves the right to modify pricing and subscription plans with prior notice.
User Data and Privacy
By using SpendTab, you acknowledge that we collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We take appropriate measures to protect your data, but you understand that no system is entirely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. If you suspect any unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately.
Intellectual Property
All content and technology associated with SpendTab, including trademarks, software, and designs, are the property of SpendTab and its licensors. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on SpendTab’s content without prior written consent. Any feedback or suggestions provided to SpendTab may be used freely to improve our services without compensation.
Limitation of Liability
SpendTab provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpendTab and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Users assume full responsibility for their financial decisions and transactions made based on information obtained through SpendTab.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to SpendTab at our discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these terms. Users may also delete their accounts at any time. Upon termination, all rights granted under these terms will cease immediately, and we may delete user data in accordance with our data retention policies.
Changes to These Terms
SpendTab may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant updates, and continued use of SpendTab after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
